 Magritte is the only approved son of the German Grand Prix Dressage Champion Van Deyk in North America. Van Deyk was a premium stallion at his approval in Germany and has sired premium sons in that country. Lars Gehrmann’s comments upon Magritte’s approval include: “Very elegant...Harmonious in the proportions of his body...Elastic and rhythmically cadenced trot; his freedom in the shoulders impresses at the canter...overall an impressive presentation of a promising young sire.” Magritte is also the grandson of Donaufürst *Ps*E*, winner of Hunter/Jumper Championships before he became a successful Grand Prix Dressage horse.
