Schiffon’s US dressage debut included multiple wins at 4th level and Prix St. George. As a 3-year old, his overall 100 day test score was 117.14 (9th of 32), with sub-scores of 120.86 for dressage and 108.66 for jumping. Schiffon’s sire EH Anduc has sired 7 other approved stallions and numerous offspring competing in upper level dressage. His dam, Surprise, was bred in Denmark and was the National Champion mare there in 1989. Her sire, the thoroughbred Mago, represented Denmark at European and World Championships in Dressage. Schiffon’s offspring possess the same beauty, confidence, and rideability as their father, resulting in a German FN dressage breeding index of 120. Many are also very good jumpers. His son Herzglanz was one of 18 stallions licensed at Neumuenster in 2006 and his son Tanzpartner was approved in NMS in 2007. |
