Eisenherz was imported from Germany as a rising yearling. He was presented and approved by the American Trakehner Association in September 2007. Inspector’s comments:
"Eisenherz is a dark brown/black stallion exemplifying very good breed and gender type. He is noble and alert, with a kind eye. Balance and harmony of body parts are obvious when he is viewed from a slight distance. This balance and harmony are further appreciated when his frame is scrutinized. Impulsion and elasticity are as desired in all gaits. Eisenherz is a good example of the desired, modern Trakehner stallion. As his measurements demonstrate, this stallion is one of substance. Mares needing modernization or improvement in their offspring may well benefit from the many qualities of Eisenherz."
“Donnie” has gone through another growth spurt, and is tall, beautifully proportioned, and is doing a great jumping round. He’ll be doing his performance test in the next few months. He has two very nice foals on the ground in 2008 with 5 foals due in 2009. |
